Focusing on the Business and the Business Person

3 BC is a ministry of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association to the local businesses of the Conyers and Covington areas. Businesses Building Better Communities believes in building up strong businesses and business people. We host networking luncheons every-other month to provide an opportunitity for businesses to network with each other and grow into mature businesses. We believe that businesses are only as strong as the businesses person. We do our best to minister to businesses by helping them learn marketing, financing, and visioning for their business. Thus, it is our desire that God would be glorified in the businesses and the business owners in our communities.

Our luncheons are free except for food. Please bring with you at least three business cards. Additional material can be placed on distribution table and can be provided during the group networking session of our luncheon. We meet the third Thursday every other month and alternate between Conyers and Covington.

Sponsorship Details

At every luncheon 3 BC invites two businesses to sponsor each luncheon for a donation of $50 to a designated fund. Sponsorship includes a five minute presentation of your business and it's services. Only sponsors are allowed to bring as much promotion material as they would like to pass out to everyone in attendance. Sponsors also receive business cards from every attendee.

Luncheon turned Party!

The last luncheon in November was a great time of networking at building relationships. Mark Overstreet from Overstreet Paving and Michelle Overstreet sponosored our luncheons as nearly 50 businesses were represented. At the end of our meeting the lunheon took on a party atmosphere as 6 gifts were given away including a vacation to Jamaica. 3 BC continues to be a place were businesses are welcomed and building network relationships remains the focus.

"3 BC" Kicks Off

Starting in May of 2008 "3 BC" launched off it's Network Luncheons with an attendance of 35 businesses. Four luncheons later 3 BC grew to an attendence of 45 -50 in just 4 meetings. Our hope is that we will continue to grow and expand in order to provide a networking opportunity to businesses of Conyers, Covington, and surrounding areas. Network luncheons are very relaxed, enjoyable, and fun. Everyone attending has they opportunity to share a thirty second commercial about thier business as well as network in small and large groups so that businesses representatives not only talk about their business but build relationships with other business men and women.

3 BC not only cares about the businesses, we care about the business person. We believe that a business is only as strong as the business person. 3 BC offers low cost (if any) seminars to the 3 BC community not only to help your business but to help you grow as an individual. So, come on out and join us as we build better communities through stronger and healthier businesses.
